Plagiarism Check

"Plagiarism means presenting the ideas, methods, data, or works of others as fully or partly their own work, without giving any references in accordance with scientific rules." (Council of Higher Education Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive, 4/1a).

Turkish Journal of Iranian Studies (TJIS) aims to publish original and scientific articles according to its publication principles. This scope undertakes that it will not make any publication against its publication ethics. All manuscripts submitted to the TJIS are undergone preliminary evaluation for plagiarism/ similarity check by the editor.

Authors are expected to upload the reports received from iThenticate or Turnitin programs for similarity check to the system. However, if the authors do not upload a similarity report to the system, a similarity report will be received for each article by the journal editor. The upper limit of the general similarity rate in the articles is 25%. If it is determined that the article violates any of the rules of publication ethics, plagiarism, violation of copyright laws, the evaluation process is stopped and the article is returned to the author.
